The making of my own personalized Polette sunglasses

Processed with VSCO with g3 preset

I am back from Turkey and I have not been able to post anything properly because I had zero WiFi connection and because my site has been offline for a while due to my domain being expired. So I immediately bought my domain name to keep you guys up to date with cool posts and stuff after I got back from vacation.

Today I am going to show you guys something really cool that to be quite honest is a lifesaver for those who want to wear personalized sunglasses. As you all know I have been a fan of Polette Eyewear for such a long time as I review loads of their stuff. Polette Eyewear has this cool thing where you can personalize sunglasses yourself and I am going through the process of how I made my own personalized sunglasses. So let’s jump right into it!

CHOOSING GLASSES

So what you first want to do is go to Polette’s site and go to any tab for glasses (except for the tab that says ‘sunglasses’ these are just ‘normal’ sunglasses in the web shop and does not have the option to personalize them. I chose the Polette Caipiroska Grey glasses because I loved the grey metal finish and the round shape of the glasses a lot.

LENS TYPE

What we are going to do next is choosing our lens type. Since, I am going for normal sunglasses I chose the tab that says ‘Fashion Lenses’.

OPTIONS FOR FASHION LENSES

After that, we are going to choose the options for our fashion lenses. Here you can choose non corrective lenses or anti-scratch and anti-reflective. I chose the non corrective lenses.

LENS TINT (UV 400 protection)

Now we are going to choose our lens tint and here you can choose between a broad series of colors. Because it is summer I went for a cool pink color.

TINT LEVEL

Last but not least, we have to choose our tint level and here you can choose between the levels 25%, 50%, 85% or a gradient effect. For my personalized sunglasses I chose a tint level of 50%.

ACCESSORIES

After I created my own personalized sunglasses I wanted to also get a cute accessory and I chose the one called Sequoia. The main reason why I chose this one is because I loved the wood finish and thought it was so unique just like my own personalized sunglasses.
